* The fourth and best-known inventor was 20-year-old Italian Gugliemo Marconi, who started wireless experiments in 1894.
* In 1895, Gugliemo Marconi invented “the wireless telegraph”.
* He used radio waves to transmit Morse code.
* In 1906, Marconi shared the Nobel Prize for physics with Ferdinand Braun, in recognition of their contributions to the development of wireless telegraphy.
